Finally built my ideal personal learning tool
For years I have been obsessed with this idea of a learning platform that brings together the reading experience, Anki/SRS card creation and scheduling, and thinking through the ideas that surface through the material I have read or plan on reading.
There are a few existing products that I love which do each of these things very well, namely NotebookLM for bringing in and thinking about reading sources, Anki for efficient long-term memory maintenance, and Obsidian for an ideal note-taking experience and way to visualize your thinking in a graph/network format.
So I began working on the synthesis of my favorite parts of each of these experiences. I am especially trying to lean into visualizing the connections between the things I read as well as exploring further into different areas of the graph.
